gah! Why, why, why...

... is it not possible to preserve playlists in iTunes? Or maybe it is and I'm just too big a numpty to realise it. Anyway, this is going to be the 3rd time I have to recompile all my playlists and it bloody well grates my cheese. Do I look like I have the time for this??

Mein Gott, it has been a while...

I'm not going to make any all too easily broken promises about keeping the momentum, but look! For now, I'm blogging again! :-)

We herald this new age with a new look (you like?) and a new name.

'Progress Is Happening' has been my personal motto for the last n months and it occurred to me last night that it would make a damn fine blog title as far as summing up of what my life is like these days.

Admittedly, the progress thus far is almost exclusively limited to my job, but you know, baby steps, or so I keep telling myself. ;-)

And to that end, I have recently taken those first steps in getting back into photography (the real kind - B&W, self-developed and hand printed no less), trying my hand at some fairly hair-raising activities (sewing and gardening (!)) and one or two other things which I last touched in the good old days. It's all fun... I just hope I can keep it up. (Again with the dodgy promises? –Ed)

Anyhoo... it's late, and I'm in danger of rambling. Nighty tighty, y'all.
